Dr. Molpus entered private practice in July 1998 and was Board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in 2001. Dr. Molpus has practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with an emphasis on the complex reconstruction of the jaws and face with dental implants, bone grafting, and tissue grafting and reconstructive jaw surgery. Dr. Molpus also belongs to a number of professional organizations such as the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Association. To maintain his cutting edge practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Molpus always exceeds the continuing education requirements called for by the state of Arkansas on average of 100 hours per year.

Dr. Steven F. Molpus was born in Vicenza Italy and raised in Philadelphia Mississippi. After receiving an undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Mississippi, Dr. Molpus completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis Tennessee in 1992. Prior to his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Molpus completed a two-year Hospital General Practice Residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center New Orleans for advanced restorative and surgical dentistry on syndromic and medically compromised patients. Then in 1998, Dr. Molpus completed his residency Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Maryland Medical System and world renowned R Adam Cowley Shock Trauma Center where he also received a certificate as chief resident in Cranio-Maxillofacial Trauma Surgery.

Personal Bio

Dr.Molpus is also an accomplished man outside of his practice, being a proud husband to Veronica Molpus for almost 30 years as well as a family man being a loving father to his two children Hunter Molpus and Julia Molpus. Other than his family, Dr. Molpus’s interest vary from serving as a Trustee of New Life Church Arkansas, traveling with his family, hunting and staying physically fit.
